OUR STORY
What We’re All About
Saints Peter & Paul Child Care fosters a stimulating, nurturing environment that emphasizes Christian values, academic excellence and social development. It is our number one goal to provide the kind of environment and the kind of influences that encourage all children to become creative, independent, responsible, well rounded, self-directed adults who can make decisions for themselves.
OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
OVERVIEW
Saints Peter & Paul Child Care will offer child care services for kids between the ages of six weeks to school age. Saints Peter & Paul Child Care offers infant care from 7:30-5:30 and toddler and preschool care from 6:30 -5:30. The children will be exposed to a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, socialization, general learning and group activities. Saints Peter & Paul Child Care will offer well trained staff and a low student to teacher ratio.
INFANTS (6 WEEKS TO 16 MONTHS)
The growth and development that occurs in the first few years of our infant’s life are significant. Our infant room is setting the foundation for their sense of security and safety. Our center will offer plenty of opportunities to support this growth.
TODDLERS (16 MONTHS TO 33 MONTHS)
Our toddler program is designed to provide each child with a nurturing environment that will stimulate learning. Teachers actively chart the development of each child and provide parents with daily communication regarding their child’s personal care routine.
PRESCHOOL/PRE-K (33 MONTHS TO HAVE NOT COMPLETED KINDERGARTEN)
Our preschool and Pre-K curriculum introduces several learning concepts such as literacy, math, and critical thinking skills. Vocabulary development is very important at this stage too, as children will begin to learn the art of writing. The classrooms are organized into centers such as reading, science, math, and writing. Furthermore, children are exposed to a print-rich environment, which allows students to associate written language to oral language. Parents are fully aware of their child’s academic progress through quarterly assessment tools and parent- teacher conferences.
SCHOOL AGE
The before and after school day children program provides care starting at 6;30 AM until school begins and following the end of the school day until 5:30 PM. During the summer we provide full-day care for kindergarten through 5th grade students M-F, 6:30-5:30 PM. The staff provides a variety of enriched activities including games, physical fitness, stories, and arts & crafts.
